Editor's Biography

Emily K. Reuter is a freelance book editor, writing coach, fiction author and former Editor-in-Chief of Reborn World Magazine – America’s first printed fine art-doll collector’s magazine. Emily earned her bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Portland State University. She holds graduate degrees in both Adult Education and English - Professional Writing. Having also completed a graduate certificate in E-Learning and Online Teaching, she now uses this expertise to instruct authors as students on writing and publishing techniques.


Emily is the author of the acclaimed romantic suspense "Fortune’s Series" – Fortune’s Secrets, Fortune’s Hours and Fortune’s Sorrow. As a resourceful and dedicated professional expertly trained in adult-education methodology, she enjoys designing writing curriculum, editorial letters and manuscript critiques through a blending of education theory, creativity and open-mindedness.


Emily’s background consists of seven years homeschooling her own children, training corporate leaders, teaching writing at the college level both online and locally, and working with children. She is passionate about collecting antiquarian literature, animal rights, healthy cooking, travel, and writing books. She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with three cats, two sons, and oodles of books!
